Enable Android installation on Firefox for Android #66
Description
It appears that the AutomaticDark WebExtension already works correctly on Firefox for Android without requiring any Android-specific code or adaptations.
Currently, Android users who want to use the extension must rely on workarounds, such as:
- Manually downloading and installing the XPI file
- Opening the Mozilla Add-ons website in desktop mode on their phone to access the Install button
These detours are unintuitive and create unnecessary friction for users.
Request:
Please enable official installation for Android so users can directly click “Install” from the Mozilla Add-ons store on mobile, just like on desktop.
This would greatly improve accessibility and user experience, especially since the extension already functions properly on Android.
