Max number of pooled samples

I wonder the maximum number samples one can pool and mantain an accurate demultiplexing. I am planning to pool up to 16 samples. Does it work with vireo?

If you have the genotypes, 16 donors should be OK. If you don't have the genotypes for any of the donors, it can be challenging, particularly when the donors are not balanced. The donors with insufficient numbers of cells may be more difficult to identify.

what about of you have the genotypes of most of the pooled sampless. I have 30-32 per batch with 1-2 sample genotypes missing per batch
