| Install with `PROTOPEEK_CHANNEL=nightly` using the verified installer. Once installed, run `pp update` or `protopeek update`, or open Settings → Updates. Both commands follow the installed channel by default. Updates verify SHA-256 and require restarting existing servers after active work finishes. | |
| Nightly may contain regressions. Stable remains available through the default installer; use `pp update --channel stable` to switch back. Stable v0.6.1 does not include the update command yet, so switching back requires an installer run to get Nightly again. | |
