App Verification

Hello there! Verifying your Discord bot gives it credibility and increases its chances of getting added to more servers [Bonus Tip]. A verified bot can be searched via the app directory on Discord and can have its own app directory page.

App Directory

Steps to Verify Your Bot

  1. Go to Discord Developer Portal and select the application you want to verify

  2. Navigate to the General Settings tab on the dashboard

  3. Check tags and ensure it has appropriate tags like social, entertainment, utility, etc.\

  4. Scroll down and update its ToS and Privacy Policy links\

  5. If your application isn't in a team already, move it to one:

    • Click on the "Transfer App to Team" button
    • Transfer it to a team
    • (Not sure about teams? Learn more here and create one for yourself)

  6. Navigate to the App Verification tab

  7. You'll see you already meet most requirements, except identity verification\

  8. To proceed:

    • Verify your identity/age with Discord
    • Prove that you are 18+
    • Accept Discord ToS
    • Complete the verification process

To apply for intents verification, contact @shapes, inc in our server!
Applying for intents verification is not necessary if your shape is not present in like 90 servers or so.
