Should the dark custom variant match TW's recommendation?

Currently the manual installation guide — and possibly the cli — have the following:

@custom-variant dark (&:is(.dark *));

While on the other hand TW v4.1 docs have:

@custom-variant dark (&:where(.dark, .dark *));

Which is a more comprehensive selector and allows the 'inheritance' of the dark mode.

Should shadcn change it?
