Plug-In Failed to Load #7
Comments
I'm having the same issue under 10.6.8 with plugin version 1.0 of the plugin with Aperture 3.1.3. |
Curious - Can you try the AppleToGallery3 application it's mostly the same code under the hood. I'll I can think of is a conflict between 32-bit and 64-bit code. The Aperture plugin should be complied for 64-bit. |
I'm running on a Core Duo (32-bit) CPU (original black MacBook). I cannot run the AppleToGallery3 application at all (must be 64-bit?). If the ApertureToGallery3 plugin is also 64-bit only, then that would explain things. Any chance of getting 32-bit compilations of either/or ApertureToGallery3, AppleToGallery3 in ready-to-install packages? |
I try and get them out tonight - shouldn't be a big deal. -Scott On 8/18/2011 10:27 AM, tpressman wrote:

Thanks! That would be great. |
32-bit version have been posted. Let me know if they work! |
The plugin loads but is not functional when I try to use it. I can retrieve the API key when adding the gallery URL, but once I'm returned to the export interface, there is no information about the gallery in the two panes, just empty panes. Trying to add albums, etc doesn't present anything either. I also tried the AppleToGallery3 app and it behaves the same way, but it also quits unexpectedly. Below is the crash log from AppleToGallery3: Process: AppleToGallery3 [48186] Date/Time: 2011-08-19 07:29:46.253 -0700 Interval Since Last Report: 1174817 sec Exception Type: EXC_BREAKPOINT (SIGTRAP) Application Specific Information: Thread 0: Dispatch queue: com.apple.main-thread Thread 1: Dispatch queue: com.apple.libdispatch-manager Thread 2: Thread 3: com.apple.CFSocket.private Thread 4: Thread 5: Thread 6: Thread 7: Thread 8: Thread 9 Crashed: Thread 9 crashed with X86 Thread State (32-bit): Binary Images: Model: MacBook1,1, BootROM MB11.0061.B03, 2 processors, Intel Core Duo, 2 GHz, 2 GB, SMC 1.4f12 |
Never mind! The plugin works great in 32 bit and 64 bit. It was just a bit slow to load the album info into the plugin interface. Thanks so much! I guess this issue can be closed. As for AppleToGallery3 app, it still crashes, but the plugin is all I need, so I'm happy. |
I tried the latest ApertureToGallery3 both 32 and 64 bit (ApertureToGallery3-1.1-1.0-32bit.pkg). The 64 bit continues to give the same error. The 32 bit is a bit slow, but it runs. You should put a note that people need to double-click in the window to get it to show what the folders are. |
hello, |
For some reason the 32-bit plugin didn't get uploaded correctly. I've reposted it - so give that one a shoe. |
I was able to get the 32 bit to work previously, though it updates the gallery listings in the file-menu very slowly. At least it worked. |
Hey, thanks a lot. Now the plugin loads .. but it does not connect to gallery (no album shown, new created albun does not appear in galery) .. :-( .. I guess I have to post this on another thread .. |
I'm using Gallery 3.0.2 and Aperture 2.1.4 and it refuses to use your Plugin.
I get the standard message "Plug-in Failed to Load" and it tells me to use another plugin or reinstall. I've tried deleting
/home//Library/Application Support/Aperture/Plug-Ins/Export/ApertureToGallery3.ApertureExport
and reinstalling but that did not help.
Joe
