What cool archived (not real time) data should be added to Acartia?

Assume the only constraint is Acartia being a distributed database holding location data for marine organisms -- from zooplankton (like Acartia) to apex predators killer whales.

What cool archived spatial data do you think would be valuable to ingest, and what applications can you imagine building around them?

Here are common species to get you thinking broadly:

1. Orcas (aka killer whales, i.e. SRKWs, Bigg's KWs, NRKWs, offshores?)
2. minkes, humpbacks, grays, fins, harbor and Dall's porpoises
3. Steller and CA sea lions, harbor and elephant seals, river and sea otters
4. marine birds
5. fish
6. invertebrates
7. zooplankton.

Crazy ideas:

• The lone sperm whale Yukusam's transit from Johnstone Strait through Boundary Pass and Haro Strait; just seeing a visualization of his path would be satisfying, but some estimates of speed would be a bonus. (Did Herve ever publish dive depth information from the passive acoustic recorders he analyzed for that ASA talk?)
• Tracks of tagged sea birds that commonly feed in association with baleen whales?
• More visualizations of how salmon move in the marine environment, e.g. from Vemco data on tagged Chinook (returning adults, Blackmouth, or out-migrating smolts) via Hydra.
• Brad Hanson's satellite tag tracks for SRKWs or recent community scientist tracks of J, K, and/or L pod juxtaposed with high-resolution bathymetry and/or AIS data would be interesting visualizations.
• Tracks of released harbor seals from Wolf Hollow. I think Joe Gaydos of Seadoc published or reported on some?
• Opportunistic and effort sightings of sea otters, visualized to show how/if they are occurring more often over time within the Salish Sea, ideally juxtaposed with some sort of kelp forest layer that also evolves over time.
