This emulator needs BIOS image(s) to start ROM files!

Hi,

Where can we get the ROM image files?

Also after download the 7z file, both the faq.txt andreadme.txt render unreadable characters. May be the encoding is not correct.

There are 3 ways.

1. buy a used unit and transfer bios-rom.

domestic (for the Japanese market) or overseas models (8801A/B,Mk2AR) are also acceptable.

2. download "pseudo bios"

3. Most difficult way

Another way is to read the data in the ROM chip with ROM reader.

However, those models did not sell well outside of Japan, so the 8801A/B and Mk2AR are rare.
Downloading the rom itself from the internet is against the license and illegal, so this is the only way you can do it.
