Matrix Rain not rainbow after sleep

Describe the bug
I setup my wallpaper as Matrix Rain Rainbow. This is fine on the day I set it, when I login the next day it is the default single colour although the Rainbow option is still set. To get rainbow back I have to deselect and reselect it. The same then happens the next day. I have this running on two machines (a PC and a laptop) and it does it on both. The laptop sleeps overnight, and the PC is always on.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Set Matrix Rain as wallpaper and turn on Rainbow.
2. Wait until next day
3. Not Rainbow although option still set in options.
