Why won't my site format properly?

I'm a beginner and was playing around with using this theme for my personal website. All I want to do for now is to get my github site to display and look like the demo. While all the text shows, the formatting is different from the original.

So far I've changed the theme to 'remote_theme: rigraz/no-style-please'

Your css file gives a 404 error when requested, did you move the whole _site directory to your document root?

Hi @nedalturas. I know it's been some time since you commented, but could you please provide your Gemfile and _config.yml?

I don't think you need to manually create a _site directory as it gets auto created when you run bundle exec jekyll serve.
