Not centering equations wrapped in $$

Hi, I am having trouble centering block math which is wrapped in $$. For example: $$x$$.

Is there any setting that I need to center the block equation?

I have an quation like:

Which of the following is a factor of the polynomial above?

I would expect what's inside $$ to be rendered like below

you can see that equation inside $$ in centered

But with my code Markdown code above i get:

which is left aligned

It's about katex usage and isn't displayMode there for it? And you should be able to custom the CSS by your own: https://katex.org/docs/issues#css-customization

It has nothing to do with rehype-katex itself.
