How to add additional styles?

I am doing my course completion work, I am having some difficulties to add some functionality such as character spacing, between paragraphs, how to solve?

@DougsAraujo At present, this is rather difficult as it requires adding new APIs and some other work. In the next generation of work (Readium-2 and Readium-NG) the styling is done via readium.css alone and the process is simpler.
Might be worth taking a look at Readium-2.

@DougsAraujo you could create a new "plugin" that would programmatically inject additional CSS styles into loaded EPUB content documents, see this example:
