Hi! 👋 It's not possible to run Mac apps today on anything other than macOS (and sometimes ravynOS or Darling). It is way more than the DE - they need the whole Darwin OS environment: kernel features, the core C/C++/ObjC libraries, and the system frameworks. You may want to look at Darling which aims to support Mac apps in a sandbox on Linux, similar to how Wine supports Windows apps. ravynOS intends to be a full OS very similar to macOS as opposed to a Unix-like desktop that can run Mac apps. |

"Sorry for my bad english🙏"
Hi everyone,
I live in Iran, and because of the Iranian regime's censorship, I can't ask questions on Matrix or Discord. I also can't download release files here.
I wanted to know: Is it possible to run software that works on RavynOS — which is originally made for macOS — on a desktop environment other than the one that comes with RavynOS? or do applications rely on the DE to run? And is it possible to install window managers like Xfwm4 or WindowMaker on RavynOS?
