This error appears when trying to use the dx 11 renderer. Win 7 x64 system with gtx980 GPU, intel 4th gen i5.

dx 8 and 9 work fine.

Please upload DashFaction.log written after this error occurs (logs sub-directory in RF directory).
Screenshot is not enough to diagnose what happened.

Yes, I wanted to try this option to rule out my frame pacing issue mentioned in the other bug report as a potential GPU related issue, but I was never able to get past this error.

I don't think this file is related to the d3d11 issue. When fatal error window shows up Dash Faction does not create DashFAction-crash.zip file. That's why I asked for logs/DashFaction.log file that is always written. Without it I can't really progress here.
