App launcher section of bar will not show all apps

Hey, great rice. One issue, in the app launcher section of the side bar, it will not show all newly installed apps, only a random select few. For example, steam and the expressvpn app do not show up in that search bar, but the gnome disk utility app i installed does. I am not well versed enough in ags to solve this issue myself, any ideas?

yeah this is a known issue in ags and i don't know the solution myself. Its probably an issue one tho you could just watch the directories where the desktop entries get put and update ags accordingly. One thing i do is when i installed a new app is i just restart the bar entirely.

Im not too sure on why is this happening. try restarting the bar? maybe? is this like newly installed apps?
