We have a bit of documentation of the process and what's required in place, but it's really far from the recent conversations we had by email.

@pauleveritt I just opened this issue automatically, I was wondering if you and @ramalho would like to start laying out your ideas on how to contribute examples what's needed to join the collective, the two different kinds of examples we'll have and how to become an actual maintainer :)
maybe @fpliger will also have some opinions here...
