In the process of using insert_htmlbox(),two issues

In the process of using insert_htmlbox(), I encountered two issues:

1. How to use a custom Chinese font. I referred to https://pymupdf.readthedocs.io/en/latest/recipes-text.html#how-to-specify-your-own-fonts, but the font is still the default China-s.

2. How to achieve left and right alignment of text on the same line like img . I used the following code, but it failed. The text still does not separate.

You missed this: * {font-family: comic;}
This says that the font-family should be globally used.

The first issue has been resolved.
But how to solve the second issue? It feels like PyMuPDF does not support CSS completely (for example, it does not support flex models).

That is true: MuPDF (which is responsible for interpreting HTML / CSS syntax) supports a (large) subset of HTML4 and CSS2, but neither of it fully.
On the other hand, MuPDF has support for some own CSS extensions.
The basic intention for using HTML is not "translating HTML documents to PDF", but primarily using HTML as a means to implement text styling with a syntax that is both, simple and well-known among developers.
HTML and CSS were the obvious choices.
I have been told that considerations like these have once ruled out LaTex - which had also been under consideration. But LaTex lost: it is neither simple nor competitive by far in terms of popularity.

How can I achieve the effect of aligning text at both ends like the img? Is there a better way? (HTML also isn't easy to implement, with many issues.) Please suggest.

I only can think of making two separate inserts: one piece with align left, the other with align right.
