Support for Pylint 4.0.0

Hi maintainers,

Pylint 4.0.0 was released on October 12, 2025. Currently, pylint-django (2.6.1) requires pylint >=3.0,<4, which prevents using the latest Pylint version together with this plugin.

Could you please bump the dependency to allow pylint v4.0.0? This would help projects that want to stay up to date with the latest linting features and fixes.

I opened #468, but we're going to need to fix the main branch first, any help appreciated.

It seems to be Django versions 4.0 and 5.0 causing the problems in main.

Now, I don't know if there's a policy among maintainers to keep this working with ancient versions of Django and Python. And if there is, I respect that.

But, to me, a sane fix for the main branch, would be to update the versions of Django and Python to test with in tox.ini to be those that are still supported.

I've made a PR for that.

Personally, I don't think it's reasonable to expect support for most recent versions of pylint and pylint-django if you're on, say, Django 3.0 and Python 3.9 (which is EOL this month).

@carlio is usually pretty conservative with the supported version but I think it's okay for users of old version of Django to pin old version of pylint/ pylint-django that were and still are compatible with their old Django. If the burden of maintaining old version is too high the result is that new version are not supported which is worse. What do you think @carlio ?
