Not an exact issue per se, I'm just... Really lost on what to do. I've been trying to follow the steps but I'm very confused, I'm new to python coding. If its not too much trouble, could you explain to me how to use this like I'm 5?

FULL TUTORIAL FOR STEAMGIFTGENERATOR!

step 1. install these required programs:

• install git (https://git-scm.com)
• install python "required"
• install pip (https://pip.pypa.io/en/stable/installation/)
• install panda "if required" (code: pip install pandas)
• install requests "required" (code: pip install requests)
• and finally install reportlab "required" (code: pip install reportlab)
• restart file explorer or computer

step 2. the start of steam gift generator:

• now, open "Git CMD" and enter this code: git clone https://github.com/psifertex/SteamGiftGenerator.git
• once its done, go to the folder by using this code "cd SteamGiftGenerator" (don't include this symbol-> " )
• and then download the requirements.txt using this code "pip install -r requirements.txt" (don't include this symbol-> " ) idk if thats required lmao.

step 3. generated:

• now, create a CSV file with any notepad you wish and copy this text:

Key,ID_or_Name
XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX,"name of the game"
XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX,"name of the game"
XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX,"name of the game"

• change "name of the game" to what game you want to get on Steam
• and save it as CSV file, and you can name anything you want (Ex: Heh.csv)
• now go to the location of your steamgiftgenerator (C:\Users"your username of your pc"\SteamGiftGenerator)
• and go to that path bar or idk whats that called, and replace that path link by type "Powershell"
• and now finally enter this code to start and enjoy:

python init.py --csv heh.csv --output steam_gift_cards.pdf

• heh.csv is your game key to get your fav game for free on steam (the start of step 3)
• init.py is a program to get your fav game for free with Steam Product Codes
• steam_gift_cards.pdf is your final results file (that has a fully working Steam Codes)

errors:

1. if you have python already and it says:
   (PermissionError: [WinError 32] The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process: '??????.png')
   use the portable version of python or try uninstalling some of your games on Steam
   if still not working reinstall python and restart your computer
2. if the internet has issues, like (steamstore.com timed out)
   reconnect your WI-FI or LAN

idk why but when i enter init.py it doesnt work due to it not recognizing it

i have NEVER installed any games on steam but gives error of process

This process doesn't generate any gift codes — it simply takes whatever you wrote in the games.csv file, finds the corresponding image from the Steam page, and turns it into a PDF. The code itself isn't even properly written. The reason for the PermissionError: [WinError 32] is that the code tries to delete the image file without closing it first after opening.
