Re: Incentivized Network Formation: topology is of course very important in traditional network science, but we should emphasize that non-topological features of the systems we're interested in are equally important.

Extending an analogy to the Bridges of Koenigsberg problem, the parameters available for us to tune resemble things like the size of the island, the number of people on the island -- even the course of the river!
