What's new in v1.52

Breaking changes

• exchange object in configuration now split into issuanceProtocol and verificationProtocol -> configuration reference
• New mandatory configuration params for OID4VCI and internal key storage -> instructions
• The DATE data type can now be configured to accept date (with no time), date-time, or both. As a result of this change, all mdocs previously issued will stop working (holders will not be able to receive a new MSO) -> data type docs

Configuration changes

• keyAlgorithm: you no longer need to define a type but instead must name the instance precisely to invoked the desired key algorithm -> key algorithm reference
• disabled flags are now enabled: use enabled: false to disable a configuration instance

Features

• Identifiers rework: use new endpoints and functions to create and use different types of identifiers interchangeably -> docs
• OID4VP draft 25 support added: choose from supported drafts to stay interoperable with different ecosystems
• Publish and resolve did:webvh -> docs
• did Client Identifier Scheme now supported for OID4VP
• Network zone segregation: /api and /ssi endpoints can be switched on or off independently using app configuration -> app reference

Interoperability

• Major work has been completed for interoperability for both EUDI and swiyu (Swiss E-ID) ecosystems; the docs will be updated soon with status updates and guides

Bug fixes

• Fixed an issue where history entries were duplicating for issuers when updating credential status
• Fixed an issue with proof sharing using an Azure key
• retainUntilDate propogation fixed

Maintenance

• Improved trust management speed and performance (caching and picture size limits)
• Retract-proof has been replaced by delete-proof
• BBS+ Cryptosuites refactored for improved standards compliance
• Key storage and key algorithm provider interfaces refactored
