Hello, First of all, Flluux does not support OpenPGP legacy encryption (https://xmpp.org/extensions/xep-0027.html) but the newer XEP-0373: OpenPGP for XMPP (https://xmpp.org/extensions/xep-0373.html), which is much better and more robust. omemo is planned, but it will be huge work, probably 6 months of work to make it stable. |

Hi devs,
First of all -Fluux looks stunning! Really beautiful UI, great job! 👏
One thing though: I noticed that the app only supports legacy OpenPGP encryption, but not OMEMO (XEP-0384).
In 2026, OMEMO is basically a must-have for any serious XMPP client. It provides forward secrecy and multi-device support, which OpenPGP simply cannot offer. Without OMEMO, it's really hard to recommend Fluux over other clients like Conversations or Dino.
Are there any plans to implement OMEMO in the future? I really hope so, because I'd love to use Fluux as my daily driver!
Thank you for your hard work and for making such a beautiful messenger. Good luck with the development! 🚀
