I am wondering how I can best use
pixianduvtogether. Previously, I have been usingconda/mambaalongsidepipwhich enables me to installpypidependencies inside the appropriatecondaenvironment. Should I add an instance ofuvto eachpixienvironment I wish to create, or should I dopixi global install uvand activatepixi shellinside the environment I want to useuvin? Any comprehensive documentation for how this interop works relative tocondaandpipwould be much appreciated. The reason I ask this is because I need to useuvfor #3730 via--no-build-isolationalongside options when installing specific packages.NOTE:
I have tried the shell method already with a global
uvinstallation and it seems to create a.venvfolder in my project even though these packages should just be installed in the.pixienvironment located in the same directory. It appears that I can delete the.venvand still use thepypilibraries I installed viauv. Is this recommended behavior?Beta Was this translation helpful? Give feedback.
