I'm not part of the dev team for this plugin, but as far as I know this is possible only with Native Ads in a Native App: https://developers.google.com/admob/android/native/advanced This plugin does not support native ads, and maybe will never support them due to how game engines work in contrast to native apps. The best practice for banners on mobile is to use 320x100, 320x50 formats on top or at the bottom of your game (assuming landscape mode). It will be displayed on top of the Godot game so it's up to you to push your game layout up or down depending on the banner position when you show the banner. You can show a PanelContainer or any other control with the height of the banner at the desired position. If you use VBoxContainer to hold let's say your bottom navigation and the PanelContainer. Whe you show the PanelContainer it will push your navigation UI up. Then you can show banner at the bottom. If you hide the banner at some point you can hide the container. Also, avoid button too close to the banner as you may get your account suspended for bad activity. For example avoid putting buttons on the left and right side of the banners just to use all the available space. See Recommended banner implementations: https://support.google.com/admob/answer/6275335?hl=en P.S. Rewarded and Interstitial ads are always on fullscreen and on top of the game. |

As far as I can tell, the ads are displayed on a separate layer floating above your game. Is there any way to have them display within a container alongside the other app controls so they are visually integrated better? Right now I'm having trouble deciding where to place buttons in my design because I don't know exactly where the banner will appear.
