I cannot find any detailed introduction about the used variables and the format of input files? Could you supply some information?

We don't have any documentation ready for the public. There was a draft manual, but it is very of date now. MASS1 is a research code and the funding for it's development and use has never included preparation of documentation. Funding for future development (including documentation) is unlikely at this point. Sorry.

I should have pointed out that the most recent branch (dhsvm) has some brief documentation. If you use MASS1, you definitely should use the dhsvm branch.
