Now I changed back to original tracking code (no proxy) and still see 404 /api/event request in my browser console. |

When I open https://plausible.mydomain.com/api/event, I get a 404 error page. I only just noticed this after enabling the proxy for the main Plausible script, because I now see errors for /api/events on my tracked website.
Why is this endpoint needed at all? I thought it was only required for apps where you can’t insert the JavaScript tracking script directly.
My setup is:
Plausible CE in Docker
