The latest scallop at https://github.com/pkgcraft/pkgcraft/tree/main/crates/scallop has now dropped the plugin feature since it wasn't additive and caused too much unnecessary complexity. In order for dynamic bash plugins to work this will require forking the crate and removing all the scallop specific support.
