Slow/unresponsive startup

I've enjoyed using this extension but recently I've had issues with my editor getting stuck "Initializing TS/JS language features" for a significant time every time I open a project.

I was scanning through the Output channels and found this message under "Log (Window)":

[renderer52] [warning] UNRESPONSIVE extension host, 'brainfit.vscode-coverage-highlighter' took 90% of 21775.722ms

If it's any help, here's the cpuprofile dump: cpuprofile.json.txt

Hopefully this can be of some use to pinpoint the cause of the hangup?
