The numbers of objects in the overview map do not take the data filter into account #2334

If a data filter is active, the number of objects in the overview map often does not match the number of objects that appear after zooming in; the overview map does not seem to take the data filter into account.

Example:
https://mapcomplete.org/cafes_and_pubs.html?z=11&lat=53.15025905470475&lon=4.852262928752566&filter-cafe_pub-accepts_cards=true
shows that there are 2 cafes or pubs in De Cocksdorp that accept credit cards, but when I zoom in there are none to be seen:

This is a known issue and very hard to program...

Perhaps you can simply hide the numbers if a data filter is activated, which can lead to differences.
