[Thanks for writing and publishing this!]

In general, there's a privacy issue with requests for a specific location or that disclose the viewport. I realize the default base layer is OSM, so that's no worse than community standards

I noticed when clicking on a police station, there was a chunk for "mangrove reviews", showing no reviews yet and click to add. That implied that a fetch from mangrove. Reading about it, I can see why you picked it :-) But, in terms of looking at OSM data and editing the map, I see reviews as quite off to the side. Even though mangrove seems as ok as this is, I don't really want to be sending queries for objects that I look at.

Overall, I suggest that loading reviews by default is contrary to the stated policy, and that a good change would be to make a toggle for having reviews or not, and defaulting to off.

Probably the same applies to everything loaded other than basemap and OSM data. But, I see 'browse nearby pictures", which means that is not default - great!
