Generating RSS feeds on websites without RSS support

Thanks a lot for this awesome project and for keeping RSS alive!

I noticed that your instance at morss.it can generate feeds even from sites without RSS — it shows “Select the news items” and creates a feed (example: https://kanobu.ru/reviews)

On my own instance (morss.xyzw.su) this feature doesn’t seem to work — it just fails with an error. I tried running both from Docker and from source with the same result.

Is your version somehow modified? Interestingly, feeds generated on morss.it work fine when opened on my instance (e.g. https://morss.xyzw.su/:items=||*[class=knb-card--title]/https://kanobu.ru/reviews).

I would love to see this implemented.

In the mean time folks might find RSS-Bridge useful for quite a few sites.

The server at Morss.it runs the exact same version as on git(hub). Only the "frontend" is different (quick thing put together during lockdowns...). So you can use the links generated on morss.it with your own server.

Yes, that's what I do. But how can I generate such links without your server? After all, your server may sometimes be offline.

Can you publish this frontend if that's the case?
