pandas logo license question

Hi pandas developers,

I'm the process of the publishing a paper which displays the pandas logo (Fig 1)
The journal requires a permission from the copyright owners or a permissive license to use the logo.

Is there anyone who could help us with that?
Is there a license for the logo?

I'm not a member of the project or a licensing expert, but FWIW, the project license is BSD 3-Clause and the logo is included in the project at web/pandas/static/img under pandas.svg and pandas_white.svg, so it looks like you're good to go if that license is appropriate for your case.
