Edge Compute

It would be neat to experiment with containerized edge compute; something like functions that could be run before page load and executed in front of the caching layer. A few ideas to get started:

• Short code snippets could be ran in lightweight containers on the fly, after every request and before the response
• Cron jobs that could modify cache parameters such as complex invalidation that isn't easily expressed with TTL values
• HTTP routing control for "DIY CDN" deployments by leveraging the Packetframe network to direct users to the closest PoP, and hand off request metadata to a user supplied function that could issue a 302 redirect to a new URI

I don't think this should be a place for huge compute jobs, but rather very fast single-function execution for making dynamic CDN control decisions.
