Freeze on using commands like ,splitv #390

Finalterm freezes up when using commands like ,splitv.

To replicate:

  • $ ,splitv
  • right click in one of the two screens, click close
  • $ ,splitv

I can also reproduce.
It appears as though it hangs just before the bash prompt is displayed.

,tab also freaks out. Seems creating and closing of terminals is still really buggy and should get top priority as it's really unstable.

This is a known issue (#296). @onli made great progress on this in #311, resulting in 6ec39f8, but some few hangs remain. I have absolutely no idea how to fix those, although I spent quite some time trying to isolate the problem already. Without fresh input, I doubt I'll be able to close this issue.
