the installation doesn't work

When trying to install any version of Bun, this error occurs:

bum use v1.3.5
Failed to activate Bun v1.3.5
Reason: The system cannot find the specified file. (OS error 2)

Failed to activate Bun v1.3.4
Reason: The system cannot find the specified file. (os error 2)

I'm seeing the same error on macOS 26.2 using zsh 5.9 (system default).

Looks like the use command breaks something.

Looks like the problem is that the installer function fails to chmod +x the binary and add the new PATH to the terminal

Getting the same issue here and managed to workaround it.
It seems to have happened since I didn't have bun installed on the system before.
bum seems to have created ~/.bun/install directory but doesn't create the parent directory when downloading the binary.
mkdir ~/.bun/bin fixed it for me.

I think bum should also manage environment setup, including setting the "BUN_INSTALL" variable and setting bun on the PATH.
