It happens for me on both the prebuilt and even if I compile it by my self
Currently I´m running
overviewer.py -V Minecraft Overviewer 0.13.90 (522ee28) built on Mon May 20 13:25:31 2019
on Debian 9

Weird that it happens when you compile it yourself. It does sound like the usual Pillow ABI mismatch, so my guess is that you have Pillow header files somewhere that do not match up with the Pillow library version it's loading.

Figure out what pillow library it's loading and what header it's using during compilation. Make sure to only have one installation of pillow, e.g. don't have a system-wide pip installation and one of your distro because it'll probably build against the distro header and then load the library from the pip installation since it doesn't ship the header I believe.
