Create text labels on map.

Wold you be able to add text labels to the map that can also be per world, so there could be labels for say the overworld and different labels for the nether or something like that. It would be really usefull for RPG and other types of servers.

Could be implemented as part of genPOI by essentially abusing manualpois for it, like polylines sort of does. I kind of want to rewrite that part of genPOI to be less confusing type-wise, so this might be a good opportunity.

It has labels but if it were to have another world the labels would stay and not be changed for a different world. (I am working on something using that map)

I have seen this on someones OV map. Maybe one of the sample sites, can't remember. The owner had a dynamic link to dummyimage.com (or somewhere similar) that generated an image with the text (label) required, loaded dynamically.

Would this work?

@Vent0 : Overviewer does not currently allow people to add text directly to the map. This issue is a request for that feature.

As mentioned above, the closest we have is support for defining Points of Interest (POIs) manually in the overviewer configuration file. This is explained in our documentation, specifically in the manual POIs section, although I advise you read the entire page carefully.

If you have any problems with this, please ensure you have read the documentation carefully. You can either ask for help on our IRC channel or by opening a new issue.
