Logger chopping lines at 5000 characters

Is there a way to lift this limit? I'm guessing it has something to do with

scribe/core/jvm/src/main/scala/scribe/Platform.scala

Line 13 in e227636

var maximumColumns: Int = 5000

but it's not clear to me why this occurs or how to prevent it. Is there a property of my Logger or handler that I can change?
