Notebooks in examples?

I've just done the first example here and it works super smoothly and the output looks great.

It isn't obvious where notebooks have been used at all and that seems odd, unless I'm missing something?

I suppose from the example it isn't clear why they are called "notebook" cards?

Yes the notebooks are used in each example

I know they are. My point was that it isn't clear from the examples how notebooks are being used and you need to dig through the flows to figure it out. I'll add some language soon in a PR that I think could help with this.
