Porting n8n Nodes as MCP Server

Your Idea

I see there are many mco servers evolving in different repositories. We do also have central server repository where ine can contribute..It would be great if we can organise the MCP Server development by planning so that it evolves structurally along with MCP spec evolution. As already there are tones of tools been developed in different playes like lanchain tool, composio, n8n etc Can we identofy the priority MCO servers though which these tools can be expossed?

We can start with https://github.com/n8n-io/n8n/tree/master/packages/nodes-base/nodes

May be its easy to write a porting tool which can translate MCP servers for each node?

While writing MCP tools , we need to consider

• How do we pass Auth credentials and how do we efficently manage
• Resource Definitions
• Caching resources
• Prompts
  -Well defines Pydantic models
• Well Defines tools name and description
• Integration with registry
• Support all transport to bee bootstrapped - One should able to run standalone in local vs using sse transport
