Hi Team,
t seems most MCP are short-lived, but these issues: modelcontextprotocol/python-sdk#144 modelcontextprotocol/python-sdk#88
Related to Python SDK where tools crash after 10 seconds, and these issues have been open for 3 months since being reported.
We had the previous random cancellation error.
I understand the team is short-staffed, but any seriously complex workflow in MCP will run beyond 10 seconds, and once it crashes, Claude Desktop doesn't recover MCP. It's dead. Requires full restart and breaks conversations sometimes.
Can you prioritize? Is it normal that MCP after 10 seconds execution is crashing?
