BOOTSEL button does NOT work in pico 2 w

BOOTSEL button is not available in micropython for pico 2 w
but this C-prog does. Is there one, who is able to integrate this routine into micropython?
Would be happy!

I confirm: with RPI_PICO2_W-20250317-v1.25.0-preview.393.gf1018ee5c.uf2 bootselect works!
