Override selected element appearance

I want to change the appearance of selected elements that is in iModel. It is not the element appearance that I need to change, it is the default selected appearance. When element is selected in iModel, there is blue border highlighted(as below), and I want to remove that blue border for the selected elements.

You can change how selected elements are displayed by assigning to Viewport.hilite. To remove the blue border, create a HiliteSettings with Silhouette.None.

It applies to all selected (hilited) elements.
There is a similar concept called "emphasized" elements which you can apply to, e.g., elements in specific categories.
Emphasized elements get their own outline and coloring independent of selection/hilite.
Not sure if that will help you - what specific problem are you trying to solve?

Thanks, I was just wondering if I can set the selected elements appearance based on model category? but so far the hilited setting works.
