@logtape/hono: A structured logging middleware for Hono

Hi everyone!

I'd like to share a logging middleware I built for Hono called @logtape/hono. It's part of the LogTape project, a zero-dependency structured logging library for JavaScript/TypeScript.

What it does

@logtape/hono provides HTTP request logging with structured data output. It works across all the runtimes that Hono supports—Deno, Node.js, Bun, Cloudflare Workers, and more.

Quick example

import { configure, getConsoleSink } from "@logtape/logtape";
import { honoLogger } from "@logtape/hono";

• Morgan-compatible formats: Supports combined, common, dev, short, and tiny formats
• Structured logging: Logs include method, url, path, status, responseTime, contentLength, userAgent, and referrer as structured properties
• Customizable: You can set custom categories, log levels, skip conditions, and format functions
• Multi-runtime: Works wherever Hono works

Installation
