Hi @charles-emes! Thank you for sharing your feedback! 🙏 Using Custom Units for Size Variables is something that we are currently researching and working on. For now, we want to ensure the feature is working correctly before we implement Custom Units, since those will require deeper validation. |

Hi @charles-emes! I am merging this discussion with #33216 because it includes all Variables, not only Size Variables, and it should be more in line with our research. We will consider both discussion when deciding if we are going to implement this or not. Just to keep things organized, we want avoid having duplicates. Please, continue the discussion there! Description
Like the new global size variable but it only supports units of
px,rem,%etc. I want to be able to have aclamp()function declared as a global size variable. For example:This would enable me to use that global size variable for padding, margin, gap etc., and gives me just one place to edit it to make changes to the entire site. Similarly for font-size. I see there is the ability to add a css function with fx but that doesn't give me global control. Pretty please.
