Missing Features from V3 in V4 elements (Currently in development)

the new editor is very good but i think there are many features and options are missed like:

• ✅ [Solved in v3.30] Display conditions & responsive options
• ✅ [Solved in v3.34] animations
• 📆 [Planned] masks for images
• 📝 [Noted] background video
• 📝 [Noted] shape divider

Thank you for sharing interest on the Editor V4, and for your feedback! 🙏

Please, keep in mind this is an early alpha version. Some features and Integrations are not ready yet, and may be missing. Our goal is to include them as they mature.

Let us know (in a new thread) how is your experience with the Editor V4.

I notice you mentioned "responsive options". I'm assuming you are talking about the options to Hide Elements in different responsive breakpoints.

This feature is going to be replaced with it's real CSS counterpart: Display: None, which will be available in the Unified Style tab > Layout section, as one of the Display options. We are almost ready to implement this feature, and it will be introduced soon! 😉

This means you will have complete control over when to hide elements based on the current responsive view by selecting the upcoming None option. 🙂

As for the other missing features, these will be introduced soon.

📢 We're happy to announce that one of the points you raised were solved with Elementor v3.30.0! 🥳

You can now select Display None in the Layout section of the Unified Style tab and hide elements on each responsive breakpoint either using the Local or a Global Class. All you need to do is change the responsive view and apply Display: None, and your Atomic Elements will be hidden in that breakpoint.

We are currently Beta Testing the Editor V3.33, and it comes with some really cool additions to the Editor V4 Alpha such as Variables Manager and Custom CSS (Pro). Have you had a chance to try it out? We would love to hear from your experience with the Editor V4 alpha so far!
