It frustrates me that Elementor is one of the only big page builders that is missing this essential feature. Beaver Builder had this 10 years ago. Why don't the Elementor devs work on important features like this? Instead they waste their time on things we don't care about like AI etc. As a result of this feature missing, if you want to have one custom post type template with dynamic containers based on a custom taxonomy term you are out of luck and have to duplicate templates. Then you end up with 3 or 4 templates for the same post type that are 90% the same with 10% difference and if you want to make a change to the 90% you have to do it multiple times depending on how many times you were forced to clone the template. This is why Elementor will never be a developers choice. Please Elementor - Be better. |

Prerequisites
What problem is your feature request going to solve? Please describe..
Under display conditions I can use values from ACF fields, as they are registered as dynamic tags. However, I cannot use ACF taxinomies as display conditions. I can only use wordpress categories and tags. However in many other widgets I can filter posts by their ACF taxonomies. So this only missing from Display Conditions.
Describe the solution you'd like.
I would like to be able to select ACF taxonomies for display conditions in the same way I can select dynamic tags and select ACF fields.
Describe alternatives you've considered.
There is no alternatives. The websites I built are very customised and they require using ACF taxonomies instead of wordpress categories and tags, but in the end I cannot use them for display conditions and it limits my creativity.
