What is the reason for Firefox extension being so inferior and, obviusly, ignored? #15474

Code Contribution Proposal
Is it because BitWarden (the company) has numbers that we kind of don't see? i.e Number of Firefox BitWarden users <<<<<<< other browser users?
Because I'd assume (and this is from before BW became "funded" and started chasing "growth") that people chose BW as a FOSS password manager first and they (at least what I have seen around) also happened to use other FOSS tools.
So BW, is there a reason you have left Firefox extension to languish and kinda relatively utter sh*te, compared to other extensions (I mean even compared to Safari extension)?
I mean it gets tiring trying to contact support, hunt through various community and forums and Github trying to make things work like unlock with biometrics, how the passkeys are handled and how it's all a mess on Firefox!
It's just a general mess!
