Ceilometer to MIQ

Hello,

I am experiencing an issue with integrating Ceilometer with ManageIQ. Ceilometer is related to gnocchi. Both Ceilometer and Gnocchi are in active state and on Gnocchi unit I am able to see metrics from ceilometer. ManageIQ expects monitoring services to provide an API. However, Ceilometer does not provide a standard API that ManageIQ can interact with, which is causing problems in the integration process.

Could you please advise on the recommended way to connect Ceilometer to ManageIQ, or suggest an alternative approach?

He has been looking into recent Open Stack implementations.

Hey @Petikuu yeah newer versions of OpenStack don't expose a Ceilometer Endpoint for external consumption. We recommend AMQP or STF as an Event endpoint and I am investigating Aodh which is the Ceilometer/Panko replacement.
