Opti supports Baldur's Gate 3 on Linux, just tested before writing this. The issue is that the game only supports Vulkan and DX11. Opti doesn't support FG for either so you are left with only upscaling. I had the best luck using Opti as "winmm.dll" in this game (ofc with WINEDLLOVERRIDES=winmm=n,b). I was using DX11 due to FSR 4. |

First, I am trying to do this in Bazzite Linux, on my ROG Ally X handheld. It's handhelds that really get a ton of value from the free frames as the small screens obscure a lot of the loss in fidelity.
Baldur's Gate 3 has FSR 2.2 built in but no native DLSS support. I know earlier mods could spoof DLSS to implement FSR 3 framegen, and this worked on the Ally X. But since the game's latest patch the earlier FSR 3 framegen mods seem to be broken. But - Optiscaler should in theory work with this game as FSR 2+ is supported.
I tried installing the mod using both dxgi.dll and version.dll as my file names, with the appropriate WINEDLLOVERRIDES command line in Steam to get the Optiscaler DLL loaded. Unfortunately, the mod does not load, the "insert" key does not invoke the menu. I tried using Fakenvapi too and also that has no effect, the game graphics settings still shows only FSR 1 and FSR 2.2, no DLSS.
Anyone else get Optiscaler going on Baldur's Gate 3?
